This was supposed to be yesterday's post but I didnt manage to finish it cos XInxian called me and we talked until 12am.
Service Learning was damn FUN! today we had the Waypoint Challenge or the Amazing Race. Jingwen and Valerie were the GPS girls, Jun Wei was the treasurer, which suits him the most, Derek was the person in charge of head-counting and I was the logistics person or the person that holds the plastic bag of things -.- but it was fun :D
After the briefing and distributing of roles, we were waiting for the SSC pple to come back and Jun Wei kept couonting the money -.- hahas and when all of our team members were present, we finally could start the race =]
First clue to the destination was a picture of a bridge which was obviously at Limbang Park and we rushed there. Then Tan Jon ran on the opposite side of the road instead of on the same side as us and some of the girls were quite frustrated cause this required team spirit and Tan Jon is known for his 'individuality'. So when we reached the bridge, we took a group photo and proceeded to do our task. Our task was to play heart attack but 3 other team mates wont know it and they will just join in and play and see if they could get what we were doing. The floor was like full of stones and I ended up getting cuts on my knee.
Second clue was a playground and according to Yan Rong it was near her house and Iqbal knew the way so we just followed their direction and took a bus to Teck Whye where the playground is located. So we did our task again and this time it was charade :) we managed to get all correct except for one and we were told to buy ice-creams as a bonus task. When we got our ice creams, we were supposed to feed someone and at the same time eat our own ice-cream. Jingwen fed me and there was like ice-cream all over my face!!! I was screaming a bit at first but I calmed as ate more ( the coldness numbed my mouth ).
Third clue was a picture of a blk 125 and after looking at the street directory it was at Pending and Derek said he knew where it was cause it is near his ah ma house. lol. So we walked to the lrt and when wereach we ran there and completed the task and ran back. When we reached CCK lrt station, Sabrina shouted very loud 'GO!!!!!' and everybody ran out then one person said 'this is not your house ok...' but all of us didnt care. LOL. We finally reached school 3 mins late so we had to minus 300 points BUT WE WON 1st PRIZE!!! hahas...
